The prize includes gift vouchers from Bali Tailor, Bacteria Books, Creme, El Dingo, Hakea, Nananita, Sol Sista Collective, Sunward Bound, Syrup and Yishi.

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the marketing and data-sharing consent outlined below.

Giveaway

  1. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  2. This promotion is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
  3. Entry is free and open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
  4. Employees and immediate family members of the participating brands and any agencies directly associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
  5. To enter, entrants must complete and submit the official competition entry form during the Promotion Period and provide the information requested.
  6. Limit of one entry per person.
  7. Incomplete, illegible, automated, fraudulent or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.
  8. Hakea reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency and eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify an entrant who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or interferes with the entry process.

Promotion Period

  1. The promotion commences on Wednesday 30th September 2026 and closes at midnight AEST Sunday 11th October 2026.
  2. Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
  3. The winner will be selected at random on Monday 12th October 2026. 
  4. There will be one winner.
  5. The winner will be contacted via the email address supplied with their entry within two business days of the draw.

The Prize

        14. Total Prize Value — $1,700 AUD

    1. Prize values are stated in Australian dollars and are based on the value nominated by each participating brand at the commencement of the promotion.
    2. Each participating brand is responsible for providing its respective gift voucher directly to the winner. Hakea is coordinating the promotion but is not responsible for issuing or administering gift vouchers supplied by the other participating brands.
    3. Following confirmation of the winner, the winner's details may be provided to the participating brands where reasonably required to arrange delivery of their respective prizes.
    4. Each gift voucher is subject to the individual terms and conditions of the issuing brand, which may include expiry dates, product exclusions, shipping costs or other redemption conditions.
    5. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
    6. If any component of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the reasonable control of Hakea or a participating brand, the relevant brand may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law and any requirements of a relevant regulatory authority.

    Winner & Unclaimed Prize

    1. Hakea will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner using the details supplied with their entry.
    2. The winner must claim the prize by 19th October 2026.
    3. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within the stated period, Hakea may conduct an unclaimed prize draw on Monday 19th October 2026, subject to applicable laws.
    4. Any replacement winner will be contacted using the email address supplied with their entry.

    Marketing & Email Consent

    1. By entering this promotion, entrants expressly consent to their name and email address being shared with Hakea and each of the participating brands listed below for the purpose of receiving marketing communications, including news, product releases, promotions and offers:

    Bali Tailor, Bacteria Books, Creme, El Dingo, Hakea, Nananita, Sol Sista Collective, Sunward Bound, Syrup and Yishi.

    1. Entry into the promotion is conditional upon providing this consent.
    2. Entrants acknowledge that their information will be shared with the participating brands and that each brand may contact the entrant separately.
    3. Each participating brand is independently responsible for its own marketing communications and its handling of personal information once entrant information has been provided to it.
    4. Entrants may withdraw their consent to receive marketing communications from any participating brand at any time by using the unsubscribe facility contained within that brand's communications or by contacting that brand directly.
    5. Unsubscribing from one participating brand will not necessarily unsubscribe the entrant from communications from the other participating brands. Entrants should unsubscribe separately from each brand from which they no longer wish to receive marketing.
    6. Withdrawing marketing consent after a valid entry has been submitted will not affect the entrant's eligibility for the draw to the extent required by applicable law.

    Privacy

    1. Hakea collects entrants' personal information for the purposes of administering the promotion, selecting and contacting the winner, facilitating prize fulfilment and facilitating marketing communications in accordance with the consent provided by entrants.
    2. Entrants acknowledge and agree that their name, email address and phone number will be disclosed to each of the participating brands identified in these Terms & Conditions.
    3. Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with Hakea's Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
    4. Each participating brand is responsible for its own collection, storage, use and disclosure of personal information after receiving entrant information from Hakea.
    5. Entrants should refer to the privacy policy of each participating brand for further information about how that brand handles personal information.

    General

    1. If the promotion cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated because of circumstances beyond Hakea's reasonable control, including technical failure, fraud, unauthorised intervention or other disruption, Hakea reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, subject to applicable law and any directions from a regulatory authority.
    2. Any costs associated with accessing the competition website or entering the promotion are the entrant's responsibility.
    3. Automated entries, entries generated using software designed to submit repeated entries, or other attempts to circumvent the entry requirements are prohibited.
    4. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
    5. Except for liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, Hakea and the participating brands are not responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance or use of a prize, including loss caused by technical failures, delayed or lost communications or circumstances outside their reasonable control.
    6. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Instagram and Meta from liability arising in connection with the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
