All orders are shipped out during business hours as soon as possible. Please allow 1 - 2 days during busy times to process your order. All orders are shipped express via Australia Post or DHL Express. A tracking number will be emailed to you with details of your delivery. All shipping timeframes are estimates only and do not include processing times. If you need your order within a certain time frame please email hello@hakeaswim.com. 

 

International Taxes and Duties

Local taxes and customs duties are not included in your purchase. Please check with your local authority to obtain the applicable rates prior to purchasing as these are payable by the purchaser. Regulations and guidelines differ by country.

Returns + Exchanges


Sale items

Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds or exchanges on sale items, this includes discount codes and flash sales. All sale purchases are final sale. Excludes sign up offer. 


Returns

Refunds are eligible on full priced items only. All items purchased during a flash sale or with a discount code, excluding our sign up offer, are considered final sale and are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

Full priced items can be returned for a refund, credit note or exchange. If you are unhappy with your selection or the fit is not quite right, please email hello@hakeaswim.com within 7 days of the delivery date. Include the reason for return and title the subject line “Return/Exchange #order number”.  


Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear in the interests of hygiene. Returned garment(s) must be in their original condition, unworn and unwashed with hygiene labels still attached. Garments will be inspected prior to approving any refunds or exchanges. We reserve the right to refuse a return if it does not reach our standards. Please be mindful when trying garments on as items with make-up, deodorant and other marks will not be accepted or incur a cleaning fee.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend including tracking and insurance as any garment(s) lost in transit is the responsibility of the customer. 

Returns must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery. 

Return/exchange garment(s) that are not received back within 14 days of generating a return/exchange will not be accepted. 

Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receiving and approval of garment(s) and you will be notified via email. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and may be applicable unless the item is deemed faulty. 


Domestic Exchanges 

Exchanges are subject to availability. For domestic exchanges we will dispatch your exchanged order once via regular post at no extra charge. If multiple exchanges occur, shipping costs are applicable. Please email us within 7 days of the delivery date to request an exchange.


International Exchanges 

For international exchanges, please order the garment(s) you wish to exchange for directly online and return your original order for a refund. Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receiving and approval of returned garment(s). Please email hello@hakeaswim.com for more information. 

  

Faulty items

We take the utmost care in ensuring Hakea garments are made to the highest quality standards. Whilst we hope this never happens, if you do receive a faulty item please email us at hello@hakeaswim.com quoting your order number and outlining the fault.

The full cost including original shipping will be refunded for garment(s) deemed faulty. Garment(s) will be assessed upon return to identify the cause of the fault and the nature of wear. We reserve the right to repair, replace or refund garments we have deemed faulty. Please follow the care instructions on the label as damages caused by wear and tear are not considered faulty.

Gift cards are valid for 3 years from purchase date.
